The Certificate Programme in Retail Management is an intensive and application-driven course designed to prepare students for careers in today’s dynamic retail environment and organized commerce sector. This 3-month classroom-based programme offers a strong foundation in retail operations, understanding consumer behaviour, customer engagement, sales skills visual merchandising, inventory management, and point-of-sale systems. The course develops business acumen, operational capability, and customer service excellence aligned with modern retail standards, ensuring participants are job-ready for frontline and supervisory roles in retail stores, malls, and retail chains.
A mandatory 3-month internship follows the training, providing practical exposure in live retail environments - a retail outlet, mall, or chain store to ensure workplace readiness.

Following the classroom training, students will complete a 3-month structured paid internship at a retail outlet, mall, supermarket, or fashion/lifestyle store, gaining hands-on exposure to live retail operations and customer engagement. Learners will:
Interact with customers under supervision and support sales conversion
Assist with visual merchandising, stock replenishment, and display management
Operate POS systems and participate in live billing and sales transactions
Support inventory checks, stock handling, and store operations
Report to a store supervisor and maintain a logbook of daily responsibilities
Receive mentorship and performance evaluations
Submit a final internship presentation/report
